The amount of time spent giving an offending player a card is the same as the amount of time it takes to discuss and assess a penalty in football. FORGET if there is a replay challenge. I knew that was coming and there is a MAJOR difference. In soccer, someone goes down (for real or imaginary reasons), and they throw them on a stretcher, get them off the field, and their team plays down a man until the player comes back or is substituted. Big bad football players need a TV timeout and everyone stops and watches them lie there face down without moving because they got kicked in...
